2026 Baseball & Softball Registration

Grades 1^st- 6^th

Registration form and Payment is due March 15th, 2026 ($25 LATE FEE)

Registration Fee: $60.00 includes new jersey $30.00 without jersey

7^th and 8^th Grade Softball and 7^th and 8^th Grade Baseball are being played through the school. Make sure your son or daughter signs up at school!

We will be using the same jerseys as last year for coach pitch, minors and majors. If your child’s jersey still fits, you do not need to order a new one. If your child played tee ball last year, you will need to order a new jersey. If you are ordering a girl’s youth jersey, those do run small!

Teams are picked by the volunteer head coaches. We do not have separate Sac City/Wall Lake/Lake View teams. Teams are mixed between all East Sac County students. Practices are held in Sac City, Lake View and Wall Lake. Practices will start in April.

We will be playing in the Northern Iowa Youth Softball/Baseball League. (Same as last year) Games will start the second full week in May. Games will be played Monday-Thursday. Teams will play two games per week and on the same day each week. (example: Tuesdays and Thursdays) Fridays are used for rain dates. Tournament play will be the last two weeks of June. WE WILL NOT GET A GAME SCHEDULE UNTIL THE FIRST WEEK OF MAY.

We are requiring parents to sign up for a minimum of one shift per child in the snack shack. We pay out over $1,250 per year in the past to our snack shack workers that could otherwise go back into the program. There will be a sign-up sheet at the beginning of the season and you will NOT have to miss one of your child’s games. If you wish to Opt-Out of volunteering, you can at a cost of $30 per child. Participants will be responsible for their own baseball/softball pants, gloves, and cleats. All hats & team bats/balls/helmets will be provided.

Tentative Field Clean Up Day: Sunday April 26th@ 12:00 PM All kids, parents & coaches are encouraged to show up and help!

Tentative Picture Date: Saturday, May 9^th, 2026 starting at 8:00 AM. Times will be assigned when teams are finalized. This is only for coach pitch, minors and majors. Tee Ball will be taken at a different time.
